Fukuoka Kimono Dress-up Experience and Walking around Hakata with kimono

Kimono Dress Up is typical Japanese experience. We offer Japanese kimono dress-up experience and walk. After dressing you can enjoy taking a walk for 3 hours by yourself around Hakata area.


Best photography spots are very close to the venue!

There are many best photography spots for you very close to our venue! For example “Kushida shrine” the most famous place in Fukuoka city where you can enjoy photographing is 4 minutes walk. And “Hakata Machiya Folk Museum” where you can enter into a Japanese old house for free is also 4 minutes walk and “Kawabata shopping avenue” local people’s street is 1 minute walk.

It is easy for you to get there because we will give you the special kimono walking map showing the best photography spots, good restaurants and model route! We hope this kimono dress up program will be one of fun things to do in Fukuoka.

1.Course:

Plan 1: Yukata dress up (Japanese summer kimono)


(1) Season: Summer (from June to September)

(2) Price:
(i) Adult and Child:
Female: JPY 3,500 (Height 145 cm – 175 cm, Weight 70 kg or less)
Male: JPY 3,500 (Height 155 cm – 180 cm, Weight 80 kg or less)

(ii) Child:
Female: JPY 2,500 (Height 95 cm – 140 cm)
Male: JPY 2,500 (Height 95 cm – 105 cm)
*2 years old or under (Height 95 cm under) : “Jinbei” (a traditional short coat) is free.

*Including dressing, Yukata, Obi (belt), Tabi (socks), Zori (Sandals), bag, all other items and Japanese tea.
*We do up your hair (only women) simply and attach a hair ornament for JPY 500 per one person.
*This program is not conducted tour without the option.

Payment:
Japanese Yen, cash only.
Please pay the fee before the program start on the day.

 

Plan 2: Kimono dress up


(1) Season: Spring, Autumn and Winter (from October to May)

(2) Price:
(i) Adult and Child:
Female: JPY 4,000 (Height 145 cm – 175 cm, Weight 70 kg or less)
Male: JPY 4,000 (Height 155 cm – 180 cm, Weight 80 kg or less)

(ii) Child:
Female: JPY 3,000 (Height 95 cm – 105 cm*, 110 cm – 120 cm)
 *Height 95 cm – 105 cm: Children’s kimono “Hifu
Male: We don’t have kimonos for boys.
*2 years old or under (Height 95 cm under): “Jinbei” or “Hanten” (a traditional short coat) is free.

*Including dressing, Kimono, Obi (belt), Tabi (socks), Zori (Sandals), bag, all other items and Japanese tea.
*We do up your hair (only women) simply and attach a hair ornament for JPY 500 per one person.

*Please let us know your requested time.
*It takes about 20 minutes to dress up in Kimono (15 minutes in Yukata).
*After dressing you can enjoy taking a walk for 3 hours by yourself around Hakata area in the time where there are old shrine, temples and shopping avenue.
*In case of the overtime, we will ask additional charge JPY 1,000 per one hour.
*This program is not conducted tour without the option.

4.kimono dresser:

Our instructor is a professional kimono dresser.

Born and brought up in Fukuoka City. I have many interests, playing the piano, swimming, films, etc. I am also good at flower arrangement and participate in exhibitions. The most typical costume and culture of Japan is probably the kimono. Please try to dress up in Japanese kimono and sense Japanese elements.

Advance reservation is required for the tour.

You can visit Dazaifu Tennmangu Shrine and The Kyushu National Museum with kimono!
